Support for Women Producers from Energo-pro Turkey: Alpaslan 2 DAM Cheese Competition Organized. (17/10/2024 - Muş)

Energo Pro Turkey organized a meaningful event to support women producers in the Alpaslan 2 DAM impact area. In the cheese competition held in the indoor sports hall of Varto District Youth and Sports Directorate, women producers exhibited their products in bovine and ovine cheese categories.

There were 8 competitors in the bovine cheese category and 16 competitors in the ovine cheese category. For the evaluation of the competition, 3 experienced jury members tasted the previously analyzed cheeses. The scores of the competitors were determined as a result of the average of their development from the previous training and tasting evaluations.

In both categories, the winners will be awarded 150 thousand TL, the runners-up 125 thousand TL and the third winners 100 thousand TL, which will be used in animal husbandry activities.

As Energo Pro Turkey, we aim to support women producers and strengthen the local economy with this event. While the competition encourages women's entrepreneurship, we also aim to contribute to increasing the agriculture and livestock potential in the region.
